The New England Bicycle Racing Association (NEBRA) Board of Directors is announcing the hiring of Meg Conlan as the new NEBRA Officials Coordinator, replacing the departing team of Shaun and Alissa Weigand.
Conlan has a long history of officiating in New England and was certainly instrumental in helping to develop and mentor many New England officials along the way. For this, and many other reasons, the NEBRA Board feels that she will do a great job continuing the assignment processes to the high standards that have existed and continued to develop over the lifetime of the organization. She will begin her duties in January of 2025.
The NEBRA Board of Directors is grateful for all who showed interest in learning about the process and what it takes to make sure that all racing events in New England are covered with the appropriate number of qualified officials. This coordinator position is a vital job is assisting NEBRA with administering competitive cycling in New England, under the guidance of USA Cycling, the governing body for competitive cycling in the United States.
