CCAP Oyster Cross Training Series
August 29, 2018

CCAP is excited to announce that on Tuesday afternoons in September (9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25), we are bringing a cyclocross training race series to Oyster Shell Park in Norwalk, CT. This series will be a great opportunity for young cyclists in Norwalk and across Fairfield County to improve their riding skills and experience the thrill of bicycle racing.

This training race format is super family-friendly with a free junior skills clinic and a separate junior race, followed by an open race for all ages. We welcome new and seasoned racers alike.

Junior skills clinic and youth teams practice is held at 5:00, and then a juniors only race starts at 5:45 PM. Junior riders also have the opportunity to test their mettles in a fun no-presure all ages open training race at 6:15 PM.

The open training race is for all racers preparing for the 2018 cyclocross season, as well as adult riders curious about dipping their toes into racing.

We are also looking for volunteers to help us make this great new series successful. Please sign up to lend a hand and you can race for free.
